Minnie J. Stich's Obituary
Minnie Joanne Stich, 88, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at MercyOne, Clinton. Services for Minnie will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the service hour Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzotnig.com.
Minnie was born July 23, 1936 in Mattoon, WI, the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Blodgett) Wolf. Minnie married Roy Harrington March 24, 1956 in Columbus, WI; she later married John Stich February 2, 1980 in Clinton, Iowa; John died October 3, 1997.
Minnie was a seamstress at the Clinton Garment Factory for many years prior to retiring.
Minnie stayed active during her retirement. She cared for family, helped raise grandchildren (hers and others), traveled volunteered at Elder Care homes. She crocheted Afghans and lap blankets to give to the elderly, and would be the first to volunteer at the Victory Center Rescue Mission. Minnie was always an eager participant at church providing her varied musical and artistic talents. Her style and grace was admired by those who knew her and she was a lady wearing many hats, literally! Her smile and can do attitude will be missed, always remembered, and admired as an example of what it means to live a good life, loving and giving unconditionally.
She is survived by her children: Dianna L. (Todd Ketelsen) Ehredt of Clinton, IA; Robert (Pamela) Harrington of Clinton, IA and Karen M. (Rick Howard) Elliot of Muscatine, IA; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great-grandchildren; siblings: her twin Mildred Allar of Fall River, WI; Norman Wolf of Wisconsin and James Wolf of Marshall, WI.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, parents, two brothers and a sister.
