Mildred “Millie” Wilson, 95, of Camanche, Iowa, passed away, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at West Wing Place – DeWitt, Iowa.
Private Services will be held. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery – Camanche. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Mildred E. Courts was born on April 26, 1925 in Cambria, Iowa, the daughter of Reginald and Vera (Attwater) Courts. She was a graduate of Clinton High School. She married Larry G. Wilson on November 15, 1942 in Kohoka, Missouri; he died March 17, 2014.
Mildred was a homemaker and worked in the kitchen at Camanche schools.
Mildred was a member First Baptist Church – Camanche and the UTU Railroad Union.
Mildred is survived by her children: Larry (Dolores) Wilson of Camanche, Roger (Mary Lou) Wilson of Clinton, Rita (James) Reggelsen of Clinton, Roy (Pam) Wilson of Fulton, Kevin (Karen) Wilson of Anahuac, Texas, and Mark (Janet) Wilson of Iowa City, Iowa, 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Bev Courts of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two infant children: Marvin & Pamela, one brother: Victor Courts, two sisters: Edith Alessio & Virginia Duncan, a daughter-in-law: Lynn Wilson; and a granddaughter: Terrie Wilson Meyer.
Memorials can be made to Calvary Baptist Church – Clinton or First Baptist Church – Camanche.
