Obviously I got click happy and ended the first attempt before I got my tribute inserted. Mildred would have loved it -- finding an error in my work or something I had done wrong. The obituary stated 21 years with us and it was a very enjoyable time for all of us in the McGauvran family, Sally, our children, and my mother. Without reservation she was the best non-family employee Service Oil Company ever had. Unfortunately in the years since she left our employ, we failed to maintain an ongoing relationship. I was always pleased to run into Windy or Bob and get some news about Mildred. For a time my mother managed to see her once in a while. Today she is but a memory, but a wonderful memory. She enriched my life and that of my family. May she rest in peace.
