Michael A. Woods, 66, of Clinton passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at MercyOne Medical Center - Clinton.

Michael Alan Woods was born April 1, 1958 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Leonard and Shirley (Westbrook) Woods. He was a 1976 graduate of Clinton High School. He married Terrie Nance on September 1, 1978 in Clinton, Iowa; she preceded him in death on May 19, 2019. He served in the United States Navy for 18 years before retiring. He enjoyed time spent with family especially his grandchildren, recreational activities and talking about his time in the service over a cup of coffee. He will be dearly missed by his family, he was an amazing father and grandfather and was loved easily by everyone he met. He will be remembered for his amazing and generous heart.
Michael is survived by his three daughters: Amy (John) Guy of Clinton, Bridgette Ebersohl of Clinton and Xavia (Christopher) Seesser of Fulton; nine grandchildren: Cassie, Brionna (Blake), Ceonna, Brooke (Matt), Xander, Logan, Curtis, Willow and Ella; six great grandchildren: Addison, Lillyanna, Nevaeh, Jace, Emryn and Autumn; siblings: Jonathan (Patricia) Woods of Clinton, Timothy Woods of Clinton, Marilyn (Roger) Decker of Florida; and special nephew: Jeremy (Tiana) Lutton of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
