Michael R. Taylor passed away at his home in the afternoon of August 6, 2019 after a long and valiant battle with cancer, his loving wife by his side. Michael Robert Taylor was born October 17, 1940 in Boone, Iowa, the son of Robe Read Obituary
Mr. Taylor was my Auto Shop teacher and help me get started as an Automotive Technician. I had the opportunity to further that career and in 2004 became the Automotive instructor at Clinton High School for 9 years. Many memories in that room. Prayers to the family.

Mr Taylor was one of my favorite teachers. He taught me alot about mechanics and life in general. He helped me get my first job in the automotive world and remembered me well after high school. I feel he really cared for his students.

My deepest sympathies. As a former CHS student and then teacher at CHS I have many good memories of Mr. Taylor. Always difficult for me to call him MIke. One of those people who might have seemed quiet but was so easy to talk to once you got to know him.
