Michael Vern Stoddard's Obituary
Michael Vern Stoddard, 66, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center, Clinton. A memorial service will be held from 2PM to 4PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Christian Community Fellowship Church, 1825 Iowa Avenue, Clinton. A lunch will follow the service. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig is assisting with arrangements. A celebration of Michael’s Life will be held at a later date.
Michael was born January 16, 1950 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Vern and Pauline (Varner) Stoddard. He had been employed as a janitor for many years.
Survivors include his sons, Shayne Stoddard of Clinton; Chad (Heather) Stoddard of Village of Empire, MI; Michael Stoddard, Jr. of Iowa and Jason Stoddard of Davenport, IA; many grandchildren; siblings, Stephen Stoddard, Frank Stoddard, Brenda Stoddard-Bader, and Patty Ryan all of Clinton, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
