Michael T. Garland, 65, of Fulton, Illinois, passed away, Saturday, September 25, 2021 at MercyOne – Clinton.

Michael Thomas Garland was born on November 1, 1955 in Sycamore, Illinois, the son of John and Helen (Worden) Garland. He served in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1973. He married Cecilia Lynn Drawhon on March 20, 1974 in Sycamore, Illinois.
Michael was a graphic artist for Condor in Courtland, Illinois. He also serviced air machines for AirServe in Woodstock. He was an avid photographer working as Magic Mike at the Cordova International Raceway. He racing family will remember him for his great hugs.
Michael is survived by his wife: Cecilia of Fulton; two sons: Richard (Tori) Garland of Maple Park, Illinois, and Kevin Garland of Butler, Pennsylvania; 8 grandchildren; his mother: Helen Olsen of DeKalb, Illinois; two sisters: Dona Watkins of Sheridan, Illinois, and Lisa Charbowski of Marengo, Illinois; his mother-in-law: Doris Drawhon of Savanna, Illinois; and two brother-in-laws: Michael (Robin) Drawhon of Deer Creek, Illinois, and Joel (Sharon) Drawhon of Wickenburg, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his father and father-in-law.
