Michael Fenzel Sr.'s Obituary
Michael R. Fenzel, Sr., 50, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at his home.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Fenzel, Jr, Dan Detlefsen, Chuck Fenzel, Nick Jones, Rich Meyers, and Ben Fenzel. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Michael Robert Fenzel was born on November 21, 1967 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Rose (Shore) and Lewis Miller. He was a 1986 graduate of Northeast High School.
Mike was a welder and a plumber. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his children: Melyssa (Nick Jones) Fenzel of Clinton, Michaela (Daniel) Detfelsen of Clinton, and Michael Fenzel, Jr. of Clinton; 6 grandchildren: Darlyne, Levi, Blake, Daniel, Madyson, and Axel; his mother: Rose Miller of Clinton; his sister: Patricia (Richard) Baker of Clinton, and two brothers: Chuck Fenzel of Clinton, and Rich (Amanda) Meyers of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father: Charles, step-father: Lewis Miller, and grandparents.
