Michael R. Duritza, 80, of Camanche, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at the Alverno- Clinton.
Private burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery next to his wife. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Michael Richard Duritza was born on May 27, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Mike and Viola (Czopur) Duritza. He married Barbara Rupnik on October 10, 1970; she preceded him in death on June 12, 1994. He was a 1964 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and then served in the United States Army from 1965-1967. He worked as a lineman at Ohio Edison and then Alliant Energy for 19 years; retiring in 2011.
He is survived by his three children: Michael (Sara) Duritza of Camanche, Stephen (Melanie) Duritza of Poland, Ohio and Kathryn Duritza of Clinton; and three grandchildren: Mason, Miley and Makinley Duritza. Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
