So sad to read that Merlin had passed away. I knew and worked with Merlin for the 29 years that I was with DuPont and then another 10 years as a tax volunteer for the VITA program, until we went to computers and Merlin still opted to do returns by pencil.
Every year after that he would come in , having already done his return in pencil and ask me to do his return so it could electronically be filed. We would check each line of the computer print out with his printed form, and if the numbers were 1 cent off we would have to look for an explanation.

I shall miss Merlin . He was a good person and I know he is in a better place.
May he rest peacefully in the presence of God.
I will never forget him.

I was saddened to hear that Mert had passed away. He was a good man. Whenever I would see him, he always had an encouraging word for me. I bet he, along with his brothers, Doris and the Bloore boys are together with plenty of laughter. Whenever our families got together, they were always great times. I am sorry that we can not be at his visitation/funeral as we are on a trip til next week. May the Lord engulf you in love and comfort during this difficult time. Don and Marcia Bloore

Hi my name is patty wright,and i work at the larche community as an assist,and i attended to merts 90th birthday party,while i there was there i met him, and we shared some memories of how young he looked and if he had met my father that recently passed away in may 2015 at the age of 91,and he told me that he has heard of my father before.(kenneth wright sr.)he was such a nice man,and my prayers go out to your family.god bless all of you and sorry for your loss,patty wright.
