Mason Lilton Lewis' Obituary
Mason Lilton Lewis, 75, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home in Clinton. Visitation for Mason will be held from 11:00AM to Noon Monday, February 27, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Graveside services will follow at the National Cemetery Rock Island with full military honors. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting snell-Zornig.com.
Mason was born September 19, 1947 in Virginia, the son of Melvin Jerome and Clarine (Pettus) Lewis.
Mason had been employed as a security officer at Chicago O’Hara Airport, a Chicago Postal Worker and most recently with Swiss Colony in Clinton.
Survivors include his sisters, Mary Elizabeth and Patricia Banks of Clinton, IA; brothers, Melvin Lewis of Whitehall, MI and Anthony Lewis of Phoenix, AZ; and nieces and nephews.
Mason was preceded in death by his son, Brayan Lewis; brother Lee Carter; sister, Fannie Davis and his parents.
