Mary J. Wilkerson's Obituary
Mary J. Wilkerson, 83 of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home.
Memorial Services will be 4:00pm. Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to the service time Friday at the funeral home. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cody Wilkerson, J.J. Finn, Ryan Finn, Louis Sechrest, Nick Wisley, Jim Stone, and Rick Mussman.
Mary Jane Saiter was born on May 9, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Emmett and Florence (Howard) Saiter. She married Charles Wilkerson on December 30, 1959 in Camanche, Iowa.
Mary retired from General Electric in Morrison after 25 years. She enjoyed putting together puzzles and feeding the squirrels. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and spending time with her grandchildren, and volunteering in the youth programs at the Salvation Army.
Mary is survived by her husband: Charles of Clinton; her children: Cliff (Becky) Wilkerson of Clinton, Brenda (Robert) Hayes of Fulton, Illinois, Wayne Wilkerson of Clinton; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Maria (Clayton) Lutton of Clinton, and Robert (Kim) Saiter of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Charles, Jr., one daughter: Teresa; grandson: Andrew, and three sisters.
