Mary Ludwig's Obituary
We are saddened to announce the passing of Mary Ludwig, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Mary was born in Clinton, Iowa, on June 4, 1924. Se married Carl E. Ludwig, also from Clinton, in September of 1944. Mary belonged to Eastern Star. She was active in volunteer work and at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Davenport, Iowa where they lived until moving to Bakersfield, California last October. She is survived by Carl, her loving husband of 64 years, her 3 children, Diane (Pierre), David (Joetta), and Dennis (LeAudrey), 5 grandchildren, Genevieve (Patrice), Christian (Tanya), Jared (Sarah), Jason (Christina), and Joseph, 3 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Alexander, and Jamie, a brother-in-law, Ralph and a nephew, Larry. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. George White of St. John’s United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am to the service time Saturday at the funeral home.
