It was an absolute honor to care for your mom (and all of you) in her final days. I am truly blessed to have met such a wonderful loving family. 'Miss Margaret' will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for allowing me to take care of her during her transition from what you guys described as an awesome life to becoming one of God's most treasured angels. I send you my love and condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mom was such a special lady. Our Mom's were friends as kids and it continued through their adult lives. I can remember them coming home from card club and sitting in the car another two hours laughing and talking in front of our house. When I look at her picture I can hear her laugh. I enjoyed our visits at the POP games so she could fill me in on what was going on with everyone in the family. There couldn't be a prouder Mom and Grandma. She will bemissed by all who knew her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm thinking of you all today and want to share something my family did to commemorate a loved one.
We had teddy bears made from the loved ones soft shirts and given to each family member. It's a soothing sight across a room and most importantly, it's huggable.

I so fondly remember the times I would come over to the house with Maureen and how she made me always feel so welcomed. Her smile could light up a city and she was such a kind and gentle soul. We were so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was such a kind soul who always brought her welcoming smile and warm hugs to every occasion -- along with her unforgettable laugh and joyous personality! Over the years, whenever the Clancy family gathered, Mary Margaret and a few of her children and grandchildren would trek to Illinois to join in the fun and represent the Iowa branch of the family. Her dedication to these visits gave insight into our parents’ childhoods and the wonderful cousin connections that continued through the years. Her annual Christmas cards (still handwritten!) full of family news and upbeat greetings have sustained these family ties across the years and miles. Our heartfelt condolences go out to you, and her greatest legacy, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary Margaret will be dearly missed by all who experienced her sweet and gentle spirit.
