Mary A. Johnson's Obituary
Mary A. Johnson, 64, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Easter Sunday at her home.
There will be no services, cremation will take place at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home.
Mary Vesey was born December 25, 1960 in Ft Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of James and Margaret (Eslick) Vesey. She was a 1979 graduate of Ft. Dodge High School and a 1988 Graduate of The Professionals Science and Beauty Academy. She married Amby Johnson June 30, 2008 in Clinton, Iowa.
Mary had been employed as a hair stylist at City Looks, Kathy’s and Hair Benders for many years.
She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton.
Survivors include her husband, Amby of Clinton, IA; daughter, Laura Beth Miller of Davenport, IA; son, Wade (Jamie) West of Clinton, IA; five grandchildren; siblings, Gwen Greer, Shirley Dickerson and James Vesey, Jr, all of Ft. Dodge and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tamara Taylor and brother Rodney Vesey.
Memorials may be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
