Mary P. Elliott's Obituary
Mary P. Elliott, 82, of Clinton passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 at the Park Vista in Camanche.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be privately held at the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mary Patricia Bebensee was born February 28, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Fred C. and Frances (Miller) Bebensee. She was a 1962 graduate of St. Mary’s High School and then served in the United States Air Force. She married Norman Elliott on May 24, 1963 in Fairfield, California; he preceded her in death on June 23, 2013.
Mary was a homemaker and also worked as the Church Secretary at Grace Episcipal Church in Clinton and worked as a cleaning service at a furniture store. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Clinton enjoyed volunteering at the church and at the Catholic School. She was a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her children: Kim Prince of Clinton, Dan Elliott of Clinton, Patricia (Jerry Eckrich) Elliott of Camanche and Barbara (Jeff) Rus of Grand Mound, Iowa; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Ed (Lonnette) Bebensee of Galesburg, Illinois, Paul (Shelley) Bebensee of Clinton and Sister Donna Bebensee, BVM of Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Bruce Elliott, daughters Vicky Elliott and Debbie Bell and two brothers Jim and David Bebensee.
