Martha McClurg's Obituary
Martha "Marty" C. McClurg, 29, of Clinton, died Friday, November 23, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Thursday, November 29, 2007, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Bonestroo officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Don McKinley, Aaron Lufkin, Sherry Julian, Scott Gregory, Larry Stauffer, Jr., and Brent Replogle. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Brad Cooper, and Solomon Stratt. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Martha Caroline McClurg was born December 2, 1977 in Iowa City Iowa the daughter of Donald Ray Turner and Christine Lucille Schomer.
She was currently employed with Blackhawk Foundry in Davenport, Iowa.
She is survived by two daughters: Kylie Terron Dean Harding of Clinton, Jalyn Cooper Clinton, and two sons: Larry Stauffer, III of Clinton, and Dylan Lucina of Thomson; her mother: Chris McClurg-Rice of Thomson; three brothers: Michael J. (Chris) Todd of Morrison, Gordon D. McClurg, Jr. of Clinton, Raymond T. DeMarr of Thomson; one sister: Virginia McClurg of Fulton, IL; a half-brother: Kerry Turner of New Castle, Indiana, a half-sister: Kimberly Turner of New Castle, Indiana, and step-mother: Marsha Turner of Anderson, Indiana; and her grandmother: Martha Hite of Indiana.
She preceded in death by her father, her fiancé: David Schmidt, and her maternal grandparents.
Memorials can be made in lieu of flowers to the family.
