Marlene M. Piatz's Obituary
Marlene M. Piatz, 74 of Clinton passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Big Meadows in Savanna, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the service time at the funeral home. Her remains will be laid to rest at the St. Irenaeus Cemetery in Clinton.
Marlene Mavis Redinger was born April 27, 1949 in Streeter, North Dakota, the daughter of William and Rachel (Wittmier) Redinger. She attended Jamestown High School in North Dakota. She worked for Collis Company for 33 ½ years when she retired. She loved to sew but more than anything she loved time spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons: Frank (Deborah) Piatz, Jr. of Savanna, Illinois and Steve Piatz of Clinton; five grandchildren: Alaina, Tia and Jennifer Piatz, Nikki Wicks and Cody Taplin; four great grandchildren: Ray, Leyton, Briella and Claire; ex-husband and life long friend: Frank Piatz of Clinton; one brother Larry Redinger of Jamestown, North Dakota; and many nieces and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Kari Redinger and four siblings.
