Mark L. Neblung, 63, of Clinton passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Park Vista - Camanche.

Mark Louis Neblung was born May 8, 1960 in LaPorte, Indiana, the son of Ronald and Mary Ann (Blankschein) Neblung. He was a 1978 graduate of Clinton High School and graduated from DePaul University in Chicago in 2012. He married Peggy King on November 30, 1980 in Asheville, North Carolina.
Mark worked as an insurance agent at State Farm Insurance with his father for many years. He was an active member of the Northeast School Board from 1992 to 2012. He was a leader with the Boy Scouts of America from 1996-2016. He taught Sunday School at Faith Lutheran Church where he was a member. He was very good with computers and could solve any problems brought to him. He was a family man and enjoyed time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Mark is survived by his wife Peggy Neblung of Clinton, children: Nicholas (Paige) Neblung of Fulton, Nathan (Denise Swanson) Neblung of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Ben (Jessica) Neblung of Clinton; grandchildren: Brennen, Elijah, Sophia, Bentley, Kynslee and Amelia; his mother Mary Ann Neblung of Clinton; siblings: Lori (Janene Bergren) Neblung of St. Joseph, Michigan, Scott (Heather Walker) Neblung of Davenport and Amy (Lynn Roth) Neblung-Roth of Spring Brook, Iowa; and parents-in-law Edna and Tommy Hunter of Marshall, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his father.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's research or to the Boy Scouts of America.
