Ann, I am so sorry. Mark was such a kind and talented person and I know how much you loved him and will miss him. My sympathy to you and all of Mark's family and friends.
I don’t think it would be possible to compact over 50 years into a single memory. There are almost no milestones or events in my youth that weren’t shared with Hub. I can’t recall a summer day, a camping trip, or any of the thousands of youthful triumphs and defeats that seemed so monumental at the time, without remembering Hub being there. Good or bad Hub had a way of chuckling and moving on with stubborn enthusiasm, barely missing a step and making everything seem better.
In some of my most difficult times it was Hub, his mother Evelyn, and the whole Hubbart family that made life a little more tolerable. When I think about how fortunate I have been, how much I have enjoyed and still enjoy life, I have to assume that things would be significantly different if it weren’t for knowing Hub.
Thanks Hub, see ya later…….Ric Pike

Deepest condolences to all Mark's family and friends.
"Break on through to the other side" my friend.

Dear Ann,
As you well know, Mark was a talented and gifted man. He's the only person I know that played the mandolin. It was part of our Praise and Worship nights for many years.
His paintings were just another outlet of his gifted talents.
We know that you miss him dearly and pray for God's comfort to you and your family during this difficult time.
With Deepest Sympathies,
Gene and Merry Jo Hynous

Sorry to hear about Marks passing... Mark was the most easy going guy I ever met... He is a super good guy... I kind of lost touch with him over the years but that does not change any of the good memories we had when we were young...My condolences to the family and all the friends that were lucky enough to know him...
So very sorry to hear of Hub's passing. I grew up knowing him as Hub more than Mark. I have great memories of him hanging around with my brother Hap. The great times shared by all who knew Hub and his enormous talent as an artist will be remembered always.
