Marjorie Moon's Obituary
Marjorie A. Moon, 85, of Clinton, died Saturday, December 3, 2011, at the Alverno Health Care Facility. There will be no local services memorial services will be held in Richwood, Ohio at a later date. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Marjorie A. Anders was born on March 18, 1926 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Howard and Edna (Gibbs) Anders. She married Alfred L. Moon on May 7, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio, he later died March 23, 1992. Marjorie graduated from high school in Ohio and graduated from the Evanston Illinois Teachers College. She was a teacher in Libertyville, Illinois for 19 years retiring in 1986. Marjorie volunteered with VNA Hospice. She loved reading and spending time with kids. Marjorie is survived by a daughter: Becky (Doug) Smith of Bettendorf, Iowa; one son: Gary Moon of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren: Angie Richmond and Jeremy Smith; two great-grandchildren: Ferran and Alexa Richmond and one sister: Mary Adams-Smith of Gainesville, Florida. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
