Susan Newsom
Aunt Marie was the greatest aunt a girl could have. I loved talking with her on the phone about projects she was working on, especially crochet and crafts. She was instrumental in gathering a group at the Alverno to help crochet scarves and hats for underprivileged children in the Clinton area. I loved visiting her over the years and it was the highlight of our trips up north to be able to stay with her. She and my mother had a great bond as you would hope sisters would. I am sure that my mother and grandmother were dancing in heaven (along with Laura) when she arrived. I miss her greatly already but I feel as though I have another guardian angel. I would say "Rest in Peace Aunt Marie", but I doubt anyone in that group up there is resting or peaceful...I am sure there is a big party going on! Love, Susan
