Margo A. Ketelsen's Obituary
Margo A. Ketelsen, 85, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at The Alverno - Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Margo A. Wallace was born February 25, 1940 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Don E. and Virginia L. (Jackson) Wallace. She was a 1958 graduate of Clinton High School and married Larry A. Ketelsen on September 11, 1960 in Clinton, Iowa; he preceded her in death on September 20, 2024.
Margo worked at the Clinton County Court House in the Clerk’s office for 15 years retiring in 2002. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she enjoyed volunteering and serving the Lord. She was a member of the Moose Auxiliary, WaTanYe Club and enjoyed playing cards in a card club for 45 years.
Margo is survived by her two sons: Jeffrey (Susan) Ketelsen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Todd Ketelsen of Omaha, Nebraska; a granddaughter: Brittney Ketelsen of Scottsdale, Arizona; and sister-in-law: Joyce (George) Vallet of Dubuque, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
