Margaret M. Henricksen's Obituary
Margaret M. Henricksen, 79, of Camanche, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at Prairie Hills, Clinton. Services will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7PM Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Camanche Chapel, Snell-Zornig. Burial will take place at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche.
Margaret was born June 9, 1937 in Mansfield, Ohio, the daughter of William and Frances (Frassrand) Redmond. She married Dale Archer in 1952, she later married Russell John “Russ” Henricksen October 29, 1977 in Clinton; he died September 7, 1999.
Margaret had been employed as a die maker at Rock-Tenn for more than 25 years, retiring in 1997.
She was a member of the AMVETS Auxiliary was a former Union Treasurer at Rock-Tenn and donated blood to the Red Cross for several years.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Archer of Teeds Grove, IA and William (Jaqueline) Archer of Sabula, IA; daughters, Anne Knott of Clinton and Melissa Archer of Jupiter, FL; grandchildren, Joseph Archer, Brian Archer, Kayla Dionne, Kelsie Archer, Kaci Archer, Ariel O’Hara, Alexi Archer-Petersen, Payne Archer, Jace Dehner and Paige Dehner; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Sophia, Trentyn, Jakobi, Jonsi and Alaska; sister, Judith (Howard) Clark-Johnson of Houston, TX; brother, Joseph (Joyce) Redmond of Clarksdale, MS and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, son, Clayton Archer and brother, William Redmond, Jr.
Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross or the Camanche Public Library.
