Madeline M. Lambert, 85, of Clinton, IA, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Wyndcrest Nursing Home in Clinton, IA. Memorial services will be held at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday May 14, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Madeline was born on February 10, 1923, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of John H. and Sophia (Lorenzen) Blohm. She was a 1940 Clinton High School graduate. She married Donald F. Lambert on October 11, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa; he died November 12, 1974. She was a former member of Riverside Presbyterian Church and Saint Paul Lutheran Church. Madeline had been employed at Nielsen Clearing House, the One-In-Hand Tie Company and Jim Walters Window Components.
Survivors include 3 sons, Gary (Susan) Lambert of Tiverton, RI; Donald (Mary Ann) Lambert of Camanche, IA and David (Dorothy) Lambert of Clinton, IA; her daughter Sheryl (Larry) Marquardt of Clinton, IA; 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice or Wyndcrest Nursing Home.
