M. Dolores Edwards' Obituary
M. Dolores Edwards, 96, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at her home. Services will be 10 AM, Friday, September, 26, 2014 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Todd and Brian Etzel, Chad, Scott and Shawn Barber and Nathan and Daniel Edwards.

M. Dolores Donahue was born October 22, 1917 in DeWitt, Iowa, the daughter of Edward J. and Genevieve K. (Green) Donahue. She was educated in the DeWitt Schools and was a 1934 DeWitt High School graduate. She married Milton Edwards on January 25, 1941 in Clinton; Milton passed away January 6, 1996.
M. Dolores was a homemaker. She was a member of Prince of Peace and the Women’s Catholic Order of Forrester’s.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanne (Erle) Etzel of Troy, MI; Kathleen Barber of Aurora, CO and Mary T. Edwards of Clinton, IA; sons, James Edwards of Clinton, IA and William (Teresa) Edwards of DeWitt, IA; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
