Lynn M. Johnson's Obituary
Lynn M. Johnson of Davenport Iowa passed Friday Jan. 26, 2024, at the age of 67 after a 3-year fight with cancer. She was a staunch advocate for doing the right thing whether it involved children in school, your pet, or interacting with family and friends. Lynn always did the right thing and had the rare gift of knowing how to listen and when to speak. We will miss her quick wit, her friendship, and her counsel.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lester (Humpy) and Ilean Humphreys. She is survived by her husband Eric, two sons Aaron and Ethan, two sisters Lorene Chevrier of Akin S.C. and Lisa (Mike) Heusinkveld of Clinton; her uncle and aunt: Gail and Diana Ryner of Clinton; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lynn always felt how she makes other people feel was the most important thing and was uncomfortable when she was the focus of the attention. So, it should be no surprise that Lynn requested that there will be no visitation, funeral, or celebration of life service. Memorials can be made to the family to be split between The American Cancer Society, Humane Society of Scott County, and medical expenses.
