Lyle L. Fink, 60, of Clinton, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his home. Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Friday, December 20, 2013 at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Cl Read Obituary
Lyle was kind, generous, and loved the Lord with his whole heart. I knew Lyle at Zion Lutheran Church in Clinton, Iowa where he was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. We will all miss this wonderful man. Karla Martensen Born
My thoughts and prayers go out to Lyle's family. My High School memories of Lyle were of a very kind, friendly, and energetic sports loving guy who was a joy to be around. He tried so hard that you wanted him to succeed at everything he attempted. I remember a JV Basketball game where he dressed with the team and when he got a chance to go in the crowd erupted, because we knew how much it meant to him to get a chance to play for Clinton High. I would see him occasionally when I would return to Clinton for a visit and always enjoyed sharing stories with him. He was a special person.

Aunt Irene,Larry and Cindy and family, Marci and Terry and Family. Lyle seemed to have a lot of energy and a great appetite! I think he and his dad are up in heaven eating pie! Lyle was good at playing cards, he was fun to visit with. Our son Dave loved playing cards with him and Uncle Leonard.Lyle loved to sing, he was full of enthusiasm when he would sing a hymn. Lyle enjoyed playing pool and he loved sports, particularly what I remember is Baseball and Basketball. He would be happy with the Seahawks! Lyle LOVED Jesus! He could quote scripture passages with the best of them.He knew his bible quite well. Lyle was a man who sported a big smile, and he gave big "Seattle Hugs"! We believe that God is merciful and gracious. Lyle is now totally whole inside and out. He is walking with the other saints and singing praises to our Lord.We will see you again my friend.
