Luella Cousins' Obituary
Luella Emma Cousins, 89, of Camanche, Iowa died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Mercy North, Clinton. Services will be held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 10:30am at the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church. Visitation will be from 2pm to 5pm Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Luella was born July 20, 1918 in Clinton County, Iowa, the daughter of Louis and Dora (Benson) Schroeder. She was a homemaker. Luella married John Cousins April 12, 1939 in Elvira, IA; he died April 28, 2002. She was a member of the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church and the Church Circle. Survivors include her son, Allen and Barbara Cousins of Clinton; daughter, Susan and Wayne Hartz of DeWitt; Son, John and Lori Cousins of Charlotte, IA and daughter, Deborah and Patrick Donahue of Camanche; 9 Grandchildren; 16 Great-grandchildren; Sisters, Dorothy and Edward Kaczinski of Clinton; Dolores and Ray Morgan of Clinton; Lillian Vining of Clinton and Donna and Gary Mulholland of Clinton; and her brother, Hobart Schroeder of Preston. In addition to her husband her parents preceded her in death. Memorial may be made to Elvira Zion Lutheran Church or for the family?s wishes.
