Louise Mayes

To the Mayes Family, I worked with Miss Louise, and can speak for all of the other employees at DM, that today when we were informed of her passing, we were all in shock. She was a wonderful woman, and was always a joy to speak to. May she now rest in peace with her Heavenly Father, Lord and Savior.

I first met Miss Louise 21 years ago. When I had my first daughter, who is now 21. I didn't know her then but she had "seen me" walking by her house while I was pregnant. So after my daughter was born, Miss Louise came, knocking on our door to drop off a gift for the baby!! Then 15 years later I started working at dm services where Miss Louise came to me and REMEMBERED that I was the one who she had brought the baby gift for many years before,even though I didn't remember her!! Then, a few years after that, my oldest daghter became friends with Miss Louises nephew, Malon, yet another of the many "connections" throughout the years. That same daughter also now works at dm services now & spoke to Miss Louise there everyday. We are so shocked and saddened. Our prayers and condolences go to the entire family. We were saddened and shocked to learn of the passing of our beloved friend. Sister Louise was like family to us. She was the Godmother of our son, Albert; but she loved and cared for all five of our children when we lived in Iowa. Though she herself was ill, when we recently spoke to Louise, she was concerned about our son, Michael Christopher who was sick. The Robinson Family will cherish the fun times and friendship of our dear Sister Louise Mayes.
