Lora A. Heppner's Obituary
Lora Ann Heppner (Petersen) said "peace out" to this world on Monday afternoon, September 2, 2024. She was surrounded by family and friends while listening to 70's lite rock. She went to join her sister after a very brief but graceful battle with cancer.
Lora was born to Therol and Rita Petersen on November 6, 1957 in Clinton, Iowa. She was proceeded in death by her father Therol and sister Susan Smith. Those left to cherish her memory are: sons Alex (Amber) Heppner of Davenport, Iowa, Travis (Kristen) Heppner of Omaha, Nebraska, mother Rita Petersen-Tigh, brothers Dean Petersen and Doug Castenson, nieces Anna Montgomery and Megan Harvery along with her sweet dog Felix and many friends that became family. Those wanting to celebrate her life with a final "Patio Party" will have a chance to do so in the coming weeks.
