Lola J. Worlein's Obituary
Lola J. Worlein, 80, of Clinton passed away Friday, July 21, 2023 at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities in Bettendorf.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the AMVETS Club in Clinton from 3:00-6:00 PM. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Lola Jean Point was born December 15, 1942 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer and Berniece (Mays) Point. She was a 1961 graduate of Clinton High School and managed the kitchen for the Sisters of St. Francis for many years.
Lola enjoyed watching Iowa Hawkeye sports, spending time with her friends at the AMVETS and going fishing.
She is survived by her two children: James Worlein of Dallas, Texas and Janel Worlein of Davenport and three grandchildren: Henry, Charlotte and Lola Worlein along with her niece: Paula (Point) Mueller and nephew: Wade Point. She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Vivian Worlein and brother Alan Point.
