Lois M. Cook's Obituary
Lois M. Quaintance Cook, 89, of Clinton, passed away Saturday at Bickford Cottage – Clinton.
Private family burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery – Morrison, Illinois. There will be no services or visitation. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory – Clinton is assisting the family.
Lois Mae Quaintance was born on October 10, 1930 in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of Clinton L. and Linda (Stralow) Quaintance. She attended country grade school, Lincoln School in Morrison and graduated from Fulton High School. She attended nursing school at Moline Public Hospital. She married Ernie Cook.
Lois was a Registered Nurse working in the Quad City area for many years.
Lois is survived by a sister: Pauline (Charlie) Windisch of Moline; a brother: Jack (Barb) Quaintance of Clinton; a niece and nephews; and a step-son: Mike (Donna) Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister.
