Linda Kay Redell's Obituary
Linda Kay Redell, 81, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Addington Place.
There will be no services, cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Clinton. Snell-Zornig assisted the family with arrangements.
Linda was born July 29, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Maxine (Zingelman) Redell. She was a 1961 Clinton High School graduate, received her associates degree from Clinton Community College and her BA and Masters from Marycrest College.
Linda taught special education in the Clinton Schools for more than 24 years, retiring in 2003. She had also taught in Waterloo, Iowa, Mount Carroll, Illinois and Muscatine, Iowa.
She had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had been on the board of Clinton Community College.
Linda is survived by her step-brothers William (Sue) Hilgendorf of Mount Carroll and Donald (Sharon) Hilgendorf of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Mike.
Memorials may be made to Addington Place, Clinton.
