When Harry retired, they moved to Hawthorne Park in Leesburg, Florida to escape the cold weather. Linda was involved in the TaxAide Program as a final tax quality control checker for 10 years. Her hobbies included reading, oil painting, watercolors, zentangle, wood-burning and other art projects.
She also served as a loving caretaker for her mother for many years.
When Linda was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s, they eventually decided to move back to Iowa to be closer to family.
