Dear Friends,
It seems that one doesn't often encounter someone as delightful as Les. I believe he was able to find a childlike joy in just about everything and it was a contagious joy. Many adjectives come to mind when I think of Les-solid, warm, loving, playful, proud grandpa, devoted to family and as Lynn has said, Pied Piper-he was just plain fun to be around. (Ilean always had her hands full with you!)
Thank you, Les, for leaving us a legacy of love, and an amazing family.

I have known Lester a long time, since my early days at clinton corn processing. Lester worked in the Boiler house and one could recognise him from afar by his signature lump in the cheek from a good amount of redman. I worked in the starch plant at the time. His good friend Bill Dennis worked there too. They both had that signature lump on the cheek. He was know for his sense of humor, always grinning and heckling someone. He was a lot of fun. Like Billy, he will be sorely missed.

Our sincerest condolances to the family on your loss. We so enjoyed Les and Ilean and were Ushers with them for several years at the 10;30 Service on Sunday Morning. Both were such good people. We are all going to miss them dearly.

I am so sorry your dad has passed, he was so good to me & all the friends that hung out at your home. He will be missed by all his friends and family, but he is with your mom and she's been waiting to have the Les she knew & loved with her again. These past years have been hard on all of you & to think he's in a better place now, hopefully brings you peace. My prayers are with you all

A good friend moved in down the street from your folks, & I had seen your Dad working in the yard from time to time. It brought back memories of visiting there many, many, years ago! Noticed that the house was recently sold, & I wondered how your folks were doing.

I am very sorry to hear of the loss of both your Mom & Dad, Lorene. They were great people, & I still remember them all of these years later. My Dad passed away this last May, & it's left an empty place in me. My prayers are with you, and all of your family, as you celebrate his life, & the many memories he left behind.

Lorene so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. The last several times we've been down to South Clinton, I always wondered where all my south Clinton friends are. Both of my parents are gone also and it is not easy even after 15 yrs for my dad and 6 yrs for my mom.
