Leo H. Robinson's Obituary
Leo Harry Robinson, 82, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Mercy North, Clinton. Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rock Island Arsenal, National Cemetery.
Leo was born August 26, 1932 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Louis and Pansy (Eaves) Robinson. He was an Ottumwa High School graduate. He married Madonna Dahler in Clinton, February 13, 1965.
Leo was a United States Navy Korean War veteran. He enjoyed fishing and gambling.
Leo was employed at Rock-Tenn for more than 34 years before retiring. He had also been employed with McDonald Aviation in Chicago.
Survivors include his wife, Madonna; children, Kevin Robinson of Clinton, IA; Michael Robinson of Arkansas; Tammy Ryan of Arkansas and Leon Robinson of Bellevue, MO; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Verlin Robinson and Walter “Snook” (Beverly “Jean”) Robinson both of Ottumwa and sister, Corrine McElroy of Ottumwa, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother and a sister.
