LaVonne (Bonnie) D. Pape, 87, of Henderson, Nevada, and formerly of Clinton, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus, in Henderson, Nevada
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 11th at Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory in Clinton. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Turner, David Dagitz, Bill Reistroffer, Ron Purvis, Mike Hayes and Mick Schwager.
LaVonne Darleen Bollen was born May 22, 1938 in Bellevue, Iowa, the daughter of Iver and Catherine (Bowman) Bollen She was a 1955 graduate of Bellevue High School. She married Harry E. Pape on August 22, 1959; he preceded her in death in 2003.
She was a homemaker and very active in her church. She was a member of St. Stephens Church in Clinton. She also attended Chancy Lutheran Church in Clinton, very regularly, as well as Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Henderson, NV. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and “grand-dogs” – previously Rain, and most recently, Enza, who she called “little sweetie”. In recent years, she had been enjoying spending time with and traveling with an old friend, Dale Dagitz, of Georgetown, Texas, and previously of Bellevue, Iowa.
LaVonne (Bonnie) is survived by her daughter Patricia (Jack) Ball of Henderson, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, aunts, uncles and cousins.
