Laurie J. Shipley, 66, of Clinton passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at MercyOne-Clinton.
A Celebration of Life will be on April 4th 1030am-2pm at The Warehouse, 110 N 2nd Street, Clinton, Iowa. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with cremation services.
Laurie Jean Shipley was born on December 9, 1959 in Artesia, California, the daughter of Donald Wayne and Betty Elaine (Bruggenwirth) Shipley. She was a 1978 graduate of Clinton High School. She worked at Collis for many years, Ipsco and retired from DM Services. She enjoyed playing bingo, poker and baking. Laurie especially loved spending time with her family and hanging out with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter Suzzette (Matt) Robbins of Muscatine, Iowa; granddaughter Heaven-Leigh Robbins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and brother Greg (Jennifer) Shipley of Oquawka, Illinois. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
