Laura H. Null, 83, of Camanche, passed away, Friday, September 23, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family,
Funeral Services will be 12:00pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Immanuel Lutheran Church – Camanche. Visitation will be from 10:00am to the service time at the church on Wednesday. Burial will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery with the grandchildren serving as pallbearers. The Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory – Camanche is assisting the family with arrangements.
Laura Helen Null was born on April 22, 1939 in Maquoketa, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Rosella (Sterbenz) Lehmkuhl. She was a 1957 graduate of Maquoketa High School. She married Jimmie Martin Schnoor, Sr. on September 7, 1957 in Iowa City,Iowa; he died November 16, 1963; she later married Donald Null on July 2, 1964 in Low Moor, Iowa; he died July 26, 1995.
Laura was a housewife and worked parttime at the Camanche school. She also helped her husband in their business.
Laura was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she enjoyed Fun Friends. Most of all she enjoyed being a mom, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Laura is survived by her children: Jimmie (Christine) Schnoor, Jr. of Camanche, Martin (Rhonda Lorenzen) Schnoor of Camanche; Connie Schnoor of Camanche, Rozanne (Craig) Murphy of Solon, Michelle (Brad) Sikkema of Bryant, and Lori (Brent) Techau of Gutherie Center, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Anna Marie Miller of Camanche, Lois (Jim) Harman of Camanche, Helen Kay Davis of Temecula, California, Hank (Bonnie) Lehmkuhl of Camanche, Arnold Lehmkuhl of Folletts, and Dale (Lavonne) Lehmkuhl of Camanche. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials can be made to the family to be divided among various charities.
