Ruth (Hawkins) Cooper
We had the sweetest & kindest neighborhood in Camanche, and the Wilson's were a part of that. Larry was a terrific role model to the neighbor kids through Boy Scouts, church, and his family. God bless this family.

I will always remember Larry and the calm, patient manner in which he led troop 122. He was a positive roll model to all of us. God bless him. My thoughts and prayers are with Millie and the rest of his family.
While he might not have had a college degree, Larry Wilson was one of the smartest and kindest men I have ever known. I have so many wonderful memories of camping in tents or cabins, rain, cold or snow with Larry and that beagle mutt, Tags. We always came home having learned something new about nature and we were always a "good tired". He is the primary reason that I earned my rank of Eagle Scout. He dedicated so much of his time and so many weekends to the scouts of Troop 122. We will always think of this great man with a smile and endless fond memories. Karl Ehlers, and brothers Eric and Dirk Ehlers, fellow Eagle Scouts.
We are very sorry to hear about your loss. Larry's life will live on in several ways.
