Larry was one of the "good guys" that I was fortunate to meet through my Purina career. Always professional and fun to work with both on the job and off the job. So sorry to learn of this and my condolences to the family.

I am stunned and greatly saddened to hear that Larry has passed away. Larry and I worked together at the Clinton Purina plant for 4 years and remained in close contact after I transferred to the Davenport plant in 2002 (where I worked with Eric and Barbara). Larry's leadership skills, technical knowledge and professionalism were instrumental in how efficiently the Clinton Plant warehouse performed its mission.
I have many happy memories of our close working relationship and our friendship during the 13 years I lived in Iowa. Larry and I enjoyed many rounds of golf at the Oleathea golf course in LeClaire (Larry always referred to Olathea as "the goat trail") and "off-site meetings" with Clinton and Davenport Purina workmates (i.e. happy hour drinking Busch Light at the Commanche bowling alley or at Sneaky Pete's in LeClaire).
Ruth, Eric and Barbara... my prayers are with you and your entire family.

So sorry to hear this. Larry and I send condolences to the family. He was my supervisor on 1st shift for many years and Larry knew him from Claussens Warehousing.
I’m so sorry that this happened! Larry was one of the best men around. He was my neighbor, at one time, then he married my Niece Ruthie, and was in our family circle.... Dave and Larry always got along great. We’ll all miss you so much , Larry. Until we meet again, Fly High! Kathleen Kratz Schroeder.
