Lana J. Zimmerman's Obituary
Lana J. Zimmerman, 73, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Genesis Medical Center-East, Davenport.
Funeral Services will be 11:30am, Monday, July 27, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Clinton. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at the church. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lana Jean Zimmerman was born July 26, 1952 in Hermann, Missouri, the daughter of WIlliam D. and Ruby I. Zimmerman. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and participating in the Special Olympics. She was a member of the L’Arche Community. She enjoyed volunteering at the Discovery Center especially being part of Felix Adler Days. She was especially fond of fish fries with her family. She enjoyed being around children and little kids were drawn to her.
Lana is survived by her siblings: Donna Burkley of Clinton, Dennis (Amber) Schmidt of Hermann, Missouri, Robert (Ruth) Zimmerman of Delmar, Iowa, Denise (Mark) Wood of Clinton, Cheryl (Mike) Clark of Hartsville, Missouri, Jeri (Jason) Shaw of Hallsville, Missouri and David (Lori) Zimmerman of Fulton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother William Schmidt.
