Kenneth M. McGovern's Obituary
Kenneth M. McGovern, 42, of Fulton passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at MercyOne Medical Center - Clinton.
Memorial services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, December 7, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clinton. Visitation and viewing will be Wednesday evening from 3:30 - 6:00 pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Kenneth Michael McGovern was born December 8, 1980 in Staten Island, New York, the son of Gregory and Susan (Byrne) McGovern. He was a 1998 graduate of Pocono Mountain East High School in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. He married Beth Mussmann on June 21, 2003 in Spragueville, Iowa.
Ken worked at ADM for the past 16 years and worked for Custom Pak for the 9 years prior. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, enjoyed going to amusement parks, grilling and playing video games. Mostly he loved time spent with his family, especially his wife and three children.
He is survived by his loving wife Beth McGovern of Fulton; three children: Victoria, Colin and Kathryne McGovern all at home; father: Greg McGovern of Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania; brother Brian (Crystal) McGovern of Davenport; sister Jennifer McGovern (Alex Lomio) of Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother and brother Greg McGovern.
Memorials may be made to Ken’s family for his children’s education.
