Kenneth Horn's Obituary
Kenneth E. Van Horn, 88, of Clinton, Iowa died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Crestridge Care Center, Maquoketa, IA. Services will be 2:00pm, Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from noon to 2:00pm Friday, April 30, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Bellevue, IA, where Military honors will be conducted. Pallbearers will be Randi Falls, Sam Jewell, Raymond Burkett and Bob Burkett.
Kenneth was born March 6, 1922 in Bellevue, the son of Edward J. and Anna (Krumwiede) Van Horn. He was educated in the Bellevue, Iowa schools. He was a WWII United States Army veteran.
Kenneth owned and operated Van Horn Decorating for more than 40 years, retiring in 2009.
Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth (Randi) Falls of Clinton, IA; granddaughter, Kim Ready of Clinton, IA; grandson, Kenneth Van Horn of Georgia; Sister, Annabelle Allen of Fort Worth, TX, niece, Cindy Merrill of Indiana and a nephew, William Allen of Fort Worth, TX.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Van Horn and his parents.
