I started my nursing career on the Med/Surg unit and new as soon as I met Kathy that was who I wanted to preceptor me. Kathy provided wonderful care and compassion to her patients and they all loved her for the wonderful care they recieved! Kathy will always hold a special place in many hearts!

I was lucky enough to have met Kathy when she was my radiation nurse. She was unbelievably compassionate and caring. We laughed and cried together. She was the type to always hold your hand or give you a hug when you needed one. She eased my fears in a way that few could. She made me feel like I had known her forever. She truly was an amazing woman and I count myself blessed to have known her for the short time that I did. Heaven truly gained another angel and she will undoubtedly be missed by many. Hopefully just knowing how comforting she was to so many will provide a small amount of comfort to her family and loved ones. Terri Ready
