Kathryn Ryner's Obituary
Kathryn E. Ryner, 57, of Camanche died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeff Ryner, Luke “Whitey” Ryner, Jess Hansen, Jeff “J.T.”Simpson, Mark Stuhlman, Shawn “P-Nut” Ryan, and Mike “Cozz” Cozzolino. Kathryn Ellen Roe was born on March 7, 1952 in Clinton, the daughter of Marvin L. and Kathryn H. (Roe) Hill Sr. She was a 1970 Camanche High School graduate. She married Robert A. Ryner on September 7, 1985 in Camanche. She had been employed with the Camanche Post Office until her retirement in 1988. She was a past member of the Camanche Women’s Bowling Association. She enjoyed photography and crafting of all kinds. She is survived by her husband Robert of Camanche; 2 stepsons: Jeff (Jennifer) Ryner of Littleton, CO and Luke Ryner of Fort Collins, CO; 2 grandchildren; one sister: Maureen (Jeff) Hansen of Cedar Hill, TX; 2 brothers: Marvin (Melissa) Hill Jr. and Dennis (Karen) Carlsen of Camanche; one sister in law: Cindy Carlsen of Rock Falls, IL; a special niece: Tara Gillespie and a special nephew: Jess Hansen; and many more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers: Maurey L. Hill and Gary Carlsen. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
