Kathleen Ames' Obituary
Kathleen M. Ames, 56, of Camanche, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her home in Camanche. Funeral Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Sarah Harding Home, Clinton with Dennis Glew officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9;00am to the service time at Sarah Harding Home. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family.
Kathleen Margaret Ames was born on February 1, 1956 in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of George and Margaret (Berkes) Fisher. She married James Ames on May 23, 2009 at the Sarah Harding Home, in Clinton. Kathleen worked as a floor aide at the Sarah Harding home for over 30 years. She enjoyed working at Sarah Harding and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing crafts with the children. Kathleen is survived by her husband: Jim of Camanche; a son: Sean Kaiser of Clinton, Indiana; two stepchildren: Jodi Ames of Lancaster, Wisconsin and Jacob Ames of Dubuque, Iowa.; one stepgrandchild and her brother: Jim (Janet) Fisher of Morrison, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the Sarah Harding Home.
