Katherine Ann May's Obituary
Katherine Ann May, 74, of Clinton, Iowa passed away Thursday at her home in Clinton. Services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until the service hour Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com.
Katherine was born February 14, 1951 in Clinton, the daughter of Robert and Dolores (Bonde) Herrity. She married Keith May December 7, 1973 in Clinton; Keith died June 16, 2020. She was a nurse’s aide for more than 38 years, retiring in 2014.
Ketherine enjoyed bowling and her Wednesday morning team won a trophy; she enjoyed many happy years with Keith. They fished, bowled, traveled and just kept trying new adventures. Katherine took a balloon ride and did a tandem sky dive to name a few. She missed Keith very much; they had a great marriage.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise May of Clinton and sons, Larry Herrity of Clinton and Ronald May of Anamosa, IA; grandchildren: Lindsey, Matthew, Grace, Josiah and Julian and great-grandchildren: Kayleaunna, Kingsley, Kamora, Ryker and Barrett.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister and her parents.
