Karla J. Kane-Hintermeister's Obituary
Karla J. Kane-Hintermeister, 68, of Clinton passed away at Kings Garden Campus of Perry Lutheran Homes in Perry, Iowa.
Private graveside services will take place at Springdale Cemetery. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Revivalist Brewery from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Karla Jean Kane was born April 24, 1955 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Jack and Grace (Hammond) Kane. She married Thomas Hintermeister on May 2, 1996. She was a Clinton High School graduate and attended Clinton Community College.
Karla was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Clinton. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, collecting and traveling.
She is survived by her husband Tom Hintermeister of Clinton; step children: John (Cindy) Hintermeister of Clinton and Mike (Carey) Hintermeister of Erie, Illinois; four grandchildren; one brother: Kerry (Suzie) Kane of Poway, California; nephew Kendall (Heather) Kane; niece Kayla (Craig) Bresson; and four great nieces.
Karla was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Kevin Kane.
